Tier1 Group was contacted to modify a master bathroom and living room to create addition room and a safe environment. Phase one consisted or removing the tub and reconfiguring the wet area space. We were able to remove the tub and create a walk in shower and a completely tiled wet are, the vanity was reconfigured to provide additional storage and a larger door opening was added to the master bath and master closet to facilitate a walker or wheel chair addressing universal design and aging in place considerations. A fireplace, wet bar and bedroom door were removed. Phase 2 consisted of a kitchen face lift. Widening access opening, adding light, reconfiguring pantry to add full refrigerator and freezer, adding custom cabinetry to create a large preparation space. Install new front door and garden window, new countertops, sink and appliances, hood vent, back splash and flooring a very happy client.Location
